Can the Hydro Floss Help With Gum Disease?

I guess this article would be classified as a review of the hydro floss oral irrigator based on personal observation and use. This is a powerful tool that should be talked about. 8gtc6453ej

At one point, my dentist and her assitant hygienist wanted to convince me that something had to be done about my gingivitis problems. They seemed very strong and even a bit forceful that I really needed this treatment.

Their plan involved something called a ’scaling and root planing’. This is also referred to as a SRP.

I would like to have heard something very different. It just didn’t sound like it was something that I wanted to go through.

The dentist’s helper exclaimed that she intended to dig around below the gum line with special tools that she had been trained to use. This would allow her to remove the build-up of tartar there. She also intended to make the surfaces smooth so that it would be harder for calculus build-up to return.

This procedure appeared to be even worse than I first imagined. It was no comfort to hear her say that she could numb my gums up so that I wouldn’t feel a thing!

At this point, I knew it was going to hurt whenever the medication wore off. This was not the kind of life experience that I would remember fondly.

She explained that should I decide not to have this therapy, they could not be held accountable for what could happen to my teeth. I was required to display that I understood by signing a waiver document. Could things get any worse?

Candidly speaking, I imagined that I was becoming the victim of some slick marketing tactics. It was difficult to believe this was anything other than a slick marketing ploy.

Then there was the item that pushed me over the edge a bit.The dental assistant suggested that it would really be best for me if they started today. She was interested in replacing my regular cleaning with this special treatment.

The logic she used made sense. The big sticking factor seemed to be insurance. Should I get the standard, regular cleaning procedure now, insurance might not be inclined to pay for the advanced one later.I wanted to follow my instinct which told me that I needed some time to ponder this before agreeing to it.

I felt strongly opposed to this for some reason, therefore I said, “no” to the treatment.Strangely enough, the waiver was never mentioned again after that.

This whole situation seemed a bit bazaar to me.I felt that their HAD to be another way to heal my gums.

I discovered that someone I knew had this procedure performed on her. She told me that she was unhappy with the outcome.

I searched around for an answer.I ‘discovered’ the hydrofloss. I sent away for one.

I was hopeful and a bit anxious when the package with the hydro floss arrived. For some reason, they were supposed to send me a video with the HydroFloss but it was not to be found in the package.

I wrote to them and said that I would really like to have the video instructions. From that point on it there were no more problems and the video was mailed to me. I felt upbeat after watching the video.

I really felt sure that this device was going to be useful. As a result, I found myself using it often every day.

I would say about five months had gone by when I went back to the dentist. I was very happy, based on how they reacted.

The same assistant and doctor took a good look at my gums. Each agreed that there was a vast improvement. They said that I would not need that scaling and root planing treatment afterall.

You most likely realize that I was very, very happy to learn of my results. I continue to utilize the hydro floss every day, unless I’m out of town travelling.

If you have been wondering if the HydroFloss is really worth it, let me tell you: In my opinion, it really is worth it! This opinion is simply built upon my experience with this device.
